A cardio workout should be any activity that elevates your heart rate for 20 to 30 minutes per workout. Walking, jogging, swimming, biking, and aerobic programs are some examples of things you can do to begin burning excess calories.

Building lean muscle mass is one of the most important fat-burning things you can do.
